While we’re here killing each other, Lebanese Actress / Director Nadine Labaki goes on accumulating rave reviews for her movie Caramel as she moves west, becomes “one of ten directors to watch”, and gets shortlisted for the Oscars for foreign movies (although, unfortunately, she didn’t end up being nominated). If you’re familiar with the website rottentomatoes.com , you’ll know that getting an 80% rating like Caramel did is a very good feat!
