I’m surprised that this has become an Obama talking point before the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) got a chance to prove anything. This is unfortunate because it empowers those who dismiss the STL as an American political tool and weakens those who argue that it is a professional, apolitical process.

But not in the way the Syrian regime is implying (i.e being sent by the Future Movement or the Saudis and Israelis). Lebanese shadowy arms dealers are making fortunes out of Syrian individuals and groups coming to Lebanon and stocking up on M16s , Ak-47s and Kalashnikovs..
