5 Hours have passed and NBN has still not posted an apology on its homepage.

Berri’s NBN is dealing with this very lightly and thinks it can just get away with half-hearted measures. (For example, I still don’t have any official confirmation that the woman was dismissed)

If we can all use their contact-us page to shame them, perhaps they will show a bit more contrition.

(To understand what this is about, please check the previous post)

** Update **
Sawsan Al-Abtah Darwish was Fired According to NBN:

In a statement, the station said it had fired the anchor and colleague and apologized for “an unintentional mistake.” The statement said, “the comments made do not represent the station in any way.

The NBN’s representative also said: “firing of the anchor should be enough to quell any outrage her comments caused.”

Is it enough?

  1. Ya mustapha!

What did you think was going to happen? To apologise means you are guilty! If you do not apologise it means you have the room to say it was actually an alien farting into the mic hence a distortion that sounded like what you heard, blah blah blah…

The above is merely an attempt to show how utterly insane lebanon has become…in what other country are three/four tv and radio stations directly operated by politicians…Obvisouly none with a stable and functioning democracy free from the threat of daily upheaval…

Berri (like all the rest) is a loser of the highest order…and I will not hold my breath for anything humane to come out of his slimey fucking ass…

    Peace to all
