Quick Hack: Read Annahar’s PDF edition on your iPad

I was hesitating to share this with you as I had meant it for my personal use only. But it’s very useful and I don’t think I’m hurting Annahar in any way when I share this. So here goes.

I like reading my news on the iPad each morning, and I’m not really a fan of Annahar’s iPad edition, which for all intents and purposes has become abandonware; I also love the Layout of Annahar and I think Nadine has done tremendous work with the fonts.

All this is to say that I want a way to see Annahar in all its layout and typography glory on my iPad. But the official way of browsing the pdf in Annahar’s website is very lacking on the iPad, which still is not friendly to embedded PDFs in iframes. So I wrote a little script that will just load the pdf file of the latest edition of the newspaper and fill the entire iPad screen.
