Gaddafi Has a Crush on Condoleezza Rice

I’m going to miss the old creep:

“Deeply bizarre and deeply creepy.” That’s how the State Department is describing a surprising find inside the compound of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi: a photo album with pictures of Condoleezza Rice.

We should have known:

Consider how he talked about her in an interview with Al-Jazeera television in 2007: “I support my darling black African woman,” he said. “I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders. … Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. … I love her very much. I admire her, and I’m proud of her, because she’s a black woman of African origin.”

Creepy. But endearing all the same..

Update: Come to think of it, this is not creepy at all. Gaddafi obviously admires Ms. Rice for what she has achieved and this is one of the best reasons to have a crush on someone. She is not a minor, she is single. Just because the man is crazy doesn’t mean everything he does is crazy..
