American Envoy in Syria Greeted With Flowers in Hama

Apparently, the American envoy to Syria was greeted with flowers when he visited the city of Hama. Just a small reminder of how fickle flower-throwing can be: Lebanese southerners also threw flowers at the invading Israelis in 1982
