Hezbollah’s Almanar is to pay the Lebanese Forces for damages:
The Publications Court has fined a Hezbollah-affiliated television station LL6 million and found it guilty of spreading false news, disturbing public peace and inflicting moral harm over a lawsuit filed by the Lebanese Forces […] The lawsuit was filed in the wake of a broadcast by Al-Manar TV on Nov. 27, 2006, that reported that an LF group had been arrested after being found training in the use of Israeli arms
So the punishment for making up news and soiling reputations is $4,000 after 5 years? No wonder they’re at it again, this time quoting “wikileaks”..
