The Phases Of An Arab Revolution

In Tunisia, Egypt and somehow in Libya, when the demonstrations started the regimes went through several phases: denial, launching a media war, accusing protestors of working with foreign agents, making small concessions and finally stepping down or losing.
She’s missing one of the important phases though: It’s the phase of uncertainty and despair when people lose hope after a setback (as in when the Egyptians started throwing stones at each other). That, fortunately, is usually followed by a phase of renewed hope and a denouement..
