Setting The Standards For Success

Israel stands as a regional model of resiliency, relevance, and democratic adaptability. And the Arab states will have to be more like it to survive. […] The Arab model for success is not Iran, or Turkey, but Israel.
If Arabs were more like Israel, the Arabs would treat Israel like Israel treats the Palestinians. Yes please, let’s be more like Israel. Let’s surround it with a wall and divide its families, lands and groves. Let’s cut its access to the outside world, prevent basic raw materials from reaching it, control its access to electricity, water, health, prayer, trade and lands. Let’s build Arab settlements in Israel and allow them “organic” expansion. Let’s dictate how they should practice their religion and raise their kids. Oh, yes, please, let’s be more like Israel.
