Suez Canal As Alternative Weapon Supply Line To Hezbollah

So the battleship did get through (I was wrong). Many are interpreting this as a win for the Iran-Syria-Hezbollah axis, but if you look closer, you also realize that this is a big problem for Syria.
By being the sole route for arming Hezbollah, Syria had an over-sized leverage over Iran, as it always had the option of cutting the supply of weapons.
By bypassing Syria and sending its ships straight through the Suez canal, Iran is effectively declaring its independence from Syria.
