Only yesterday, TV and radio pundits were saying that the regime outsmarted the protesters and divided them, that the protesters were becoming a noisy, inflexible minority, and that normality has returned.

You could feel the condescension in the questions some of the Alarabiya presenters were asking the Tahrir square young campers. With barely hidden allusions that the campers were being irrational young fools. One BBC guy actually used the expression “Salami cuts” to refer to the regime’s tactic of slicing away sections of the January 25 opposition.

How wrong they all were. It seems the protesters are just gearing up..
