Aljazeera English Is Pushing To Be Aired In The US

As some of you remember, Aljazeera was banished from major USA cable providers during the days when Americans stopped eating french fries and began eating freedom fries.
Fast forward 10 years to today, and many Americans are realizing that they’re missing out on Aljazeera’s outstanding coverage of the Egyptian uprising. The network is seizing this opportunity and has began an original and widespread campaign to promote itself in America.
Will it work? If the amount of people who start demanding to see Aljazeera is significant, then the cable companies will yield. Meanwhile, here’s a full-page ad for the network in the New York Times [source]:
