Speaker Nabih Berri on the health of the Saudi King:
During his recuperation, the [Saudi-Syrian] initiative came to a halt […] And when the king entered the recovery period the initiative did the same. […] We hope the resting period does not last long
As I said before, the possibility that all parties (except Hezbollah and Iran) are playing for time until the indictment comes out is a real one. This is making Hezbollah nervous. The Illness of the Saudi monarch couldn’t have come at a worse time for them, so they had to deliver this delicate message via Mr. Berri who’s on better terms with the Saudis.
Update: The indictment could be as soon as January 15.
