M.P. Walid Jumblats nominated Wikileaks founder Julian Assange for the Nobel Peace prize:
Julian Assange, the famous founder of WikiLeaks, could be the best candidate to be nominated for the Nobel Prize for Peace, after he uncovered the real facts as they are without any attempts to beautify them […] The revealing of these documents is a punch against the Obama administration and the politics of Barack Obama in the Middle East, which moved from demanding the establishment of a Palestinian state to accepting the Israeli refusal to extend a settlement freeze for another 90 days,
He also said that there was a conspiracy that prevented sensitive documents about American-Israeli relations to surface on wikileaks.
