The Economist For The iPad

I remember only a few years ago when I used to wait almost 4 days to get my copy. How times change. This excellent adaptation (iTunes) is exactly how I think magazines should evolve beyond dead trees (paper to those of you still unfamiliar with eco-jargon).

It’s amazingly convenient. When a new issue is available, I get notified and the whole issue downloads automatically in less than two minutes, including all the photos, cartoons and graphs. All this before the print issue reaches world newsstands. And it looks very much like the original, plus the ability to increase the font size.
