BBC Suddenly Cancels Airing Of a Documentary On Hariri’s Murder

The series was made by ORTV, a British-Saudi production company, and originally commissioned by al-Arabiyya TV, the Saudi-owned satellite channel. The first version was completed last summer but never broadcast as Saudi Arabia sought to improve relations with Syria.

It was indefinitely postponed after Al-akhbar reported yesterday that the series was politically motivated and had the intent of implicating Hezbollah.
