New York Times Editorial Asks Obama To “Stand By Lebanon”

The Times:

A stable Lebanon, with a government that can stand up to outside intimidation and a national army in control of all its territory, is clearly not what Hezbollah wants. It is in the clear interest of the United States.

I can’t see how this is different than the actual US policy on Lebanon, but interestingly we’re seeing this kind of articles more frequently nowadays.
