Remember that politics move quickly, and people and their opinions evolve.

They’re Fighting Back. Sort Of.

A wave of litigation will be unleashed against March 8 personalities:

A large number of citizens are expected to present lawsuits against a number of March 8 security and political figures on Monday, reported the daily An Nahar Saturday. The figures include former General Security chief Major General Jamil Sayyed, former Internal Security chief General Ali al-Hajj, and former MP Nasser Qandil.

We’re also starting to hear voices asking P.M. Hariri to use the nuclear option: His resignation. Those voices are usually coupled with loyalists explaining that no other government will be allowed to form. If indeed Mr. Hariri is pondering that, the card will be strongest if he threatens to use it before president Ahmadinejad of Iran arrives to Beirut.
