A Bike Ride In Tripoli For The Global Climate Action Day

I’m so sad I’m going to miss this:
El Mina by Bike is organizing a bike ride between El Mina and Tripoli on Sunday 10–10–10 (Day of Global Climate Action). This event has been planned with other local NGOs to stop climate change and to promote environment friendly means of transportation.
Of course, technically they’re not going to “stop” climate change, they’re just telling people that if they ride bicycles instead of cars, climate change will happen more slowly.
PS: to all you purists out there, yes I do believe that El Mina, for all intents and purposes, is part of Tripoli.
