Jamile Mroue on “shaking off his skepticism” with regards to the peace talks:
skeptics among us would do well to lend the current effort more credence, as its main architects have recently displayed an encouraging tendency to couple rhetoric with diplomatic activity that is actually smart and constructive.
Translation: Whoaaa, maybe the Americans know what they’re doing this time.
