Wavering Loyalties

P.M. Hariri should take note: (Emphasis mine)
“It was all the Sunni boys in the neighborhood who fought back when we were attacked by armed men.” The young man says he used to support the Future Movement, but now, like many other young people in the neighborhood, doesn’t support any party.
This is a classic case of people being cowed by violence. The youth had supported the Future Movement and its quest for justice through the international tribunal, but realized that the price they’re paying for their support was violence, so they took the “non-allied” road. Not that that helped.
