So the Democrats are in a tight spot in the upcoming congressional elections. They badly need the votes of conservative Jewish voters and they want to shake off their “softie” image. What do they do?

Here’s one plan:

1. Withhold aid money from the Lebanese army
2. Scold turkey into reducing their criticism of Israel at the risk of losing an American arms deal
3. Sell a bunch of the world’s most advanced American planes to Israel

Newsflash: They will still lose.
