The Discovery No Lebanese Wants To Know About

August 9, 2007 · Mustapha Hamoui

If you thought that it couldn’t get worse for Lebanon, think again.

National Geographic: A disaster (Catastrophic earthquake of historic proportions+ Tsunami) is due “any day now” in Lebanon

Discovery Channel: A disaster similar to the earthquake and tsunami that on July 9, 551, destroyed most of the coastal cities of Phoenicia [..] could be due any day.

Apparently, it took Beirut 1300 years to recover from the previous similar earthquake. Even mother nature seems to be working against this miserable country..

But hey, we can always look at the bright side of things: Hezbollah’s tent city will drown and Seniora will be swept away from the Serail..
