Airport Trespassers Were Hezbollah Members..
June 4, 2007 · Mustapha Hamoui
The Daily Star quietly slipped this paragraph into the newspaper this morning:
A delegation from the Lebanese Army visited the families of slain Hizbullah members Ali Noureddine and Hassan Karaky. Noureddine, from Bourj Qalawieh near Tyre, and Karaky, from the village of Kawtharieh in the Nabatieh region, were killed by Lebanese Army soldiers when a taxi carrying the two sped through a checkpoint near Rafik Hariri International Airport last Monday, a Hizbullah statement said on Sunday.
Remember, this happened a day after Nassrallah announced on TV that he will not support the Army in its war against Fateh Al Islam. That speech most likely caused Hezbollah members to fatally disregard the authority of the Lebanese soldiers near the airport.
