We Even Mistreat Their Corpses

  1. i’ve seen this pic on matthew’s blog couple of month ago, it is so sad. He held an exhibition on migrant workers at masrah al-madina in june. You can see a selection of his exhibition in T-marbouta

  2. this is so devastating, and so so sad. how can anyone have such little humanity?

i don’t know why, but i find the casually pushed up chairs and plant around her — the fruits of what must have been a full 20 seconds tending to this poor woman’s body — to be the most chilling aspect of the scene. you can almost see the natour grumpily taking care of it, cigarette hanging from his mouth, quietly cursing both maid and madame for making him go out in the rain.

god forbid her family back home ever sees this photo.
