According to “local observer” Ali Hussein
Aoun’s decision according to Hussein may have come after feeling isolated following his attacks against the president and Lebanese government including PM Saad Hariri.
Hussein thinks that “Aoun may decide soon to quit politics altogether specially after the arrest of his FPM official , retired Brigadier General Fayez Karam, and burning all his political bridges”

I will declare it a national holiday (at my house that is) if he does

aoun would only “quit” if he was sure that everyone would come chasing after him and beg him to come back.
but just in case, ameen, i’ll bring the balloons and punch?
Aoun is an old with the symptoms of first stage of Alzheimer!!! Google it and compare to Aoun’s behavior!
