You’ll have to scroll way down in this website to find Lebanon (#157) in its world ranking of internet download speed. As a side note, I’ve realized that Ghana (Where I live) has the best internet in Africa and is #41 in the world

    Lebanon would be even lower if they took the data in the summer when heavy internet traffic slows things down even more.

    Mustapha, What is much worse than the speed , although that is hugely important, is the proportion of income that is needed to buy access. In a few countries people spend less than 1/2 of 1% of their income on access and then it climbs to 1% ; 5%; 10% and 25% . In Lebanon, just like Jordan and other countries in the region the internet users suffer of a double whammy. An exceedingly low speed coupled with one of the most expensive rates in the world!!!
