  1. So timely.

By then, economic reform would have finally started, the national dialogue would have reached its successful conclusion, and the Lebanese army can finally gets the delivery of the Crotale they ordered in the 60′s.

And by then, Ziad Baroud would have figured out a way to run his ministry.

  2. Institute a campaign to make sure that all people eligible are aware of their rights. Provide information sources to bring people up to date on the important issues and encourage discussion/debate in the diaspora community. Hope that leaders will arise and represent issues of particular relevance to the community along with bringing a strong voice to the table that will impact positively on the prevailing chaos with fresh views for change. And make sure that voting procedures and details are well known and understood before the last minute. Lebanese living outside of Lebanon probably possess, for the most part, a high level of sophistication that is sorely needed at home. And there are a lot of potentially new voters out there. Maybe the time delay before implementation can truly be taken advantage of.

  3. Wow! even in lebanon you need an I.D to vote. Unfortunately here in the United States some feel that requiring an I.D for something as important as picking the next leader of the country is just too much of a burden. This will most likely result in many votes being cast by deceased people and convicted felons all across the country. Classic Chicago style politics which will no doubt serve Obama well in the coming election.
