You also have to factor how many of those are even fighting age, as for remaining non shia of Lebanon wouldn't any of the 60% also be willing to use knives, stick, rocks and machine guns to survive. you are correct that fighting Hezbollah today would be a messy affair, it might be safe to say that it would exceed the previous civil war in both blood and money. but at present Hezbollah is only getting stronger. It has shown (unlike yourself)it is willing use its weapons on fellow Lebanese to further its own as well as Ir ans political agenda and who can forget about starting cross border attacks on Israel resulting in war. there is no easy road for Lebanon any more, that ship has sailed. you can either concede the country to Iran or fight for it. sami,
