If it's--and you are--afraid of it splitting, they screw it, let it split, it didn't deserve to exist to begin with, then. In point of fact, a national army that tolerates a parallel military outfit in its own jurisdiction is no longer a national army but an emasculated dupe. In fact, a legitimate govenment that does not try officers for shirking their national obligations, is ITSELF guilty of high treason. The Lebanese Army must NOW, if not earlier, arrest and/or shoot on sight any and ALL armed elements ANYWHERE on Lebanese territory, who are not members of the Lebanese Armed Forces. The army became a shameful insitution for allowing Iranian-Syrian Militias a free reign and this will not go on for much longer.
