What’s With All The Lebanese Flags?

Miscalleneous

Am I the only one who noticed a disproportionate amount of Lebanese flags behind Mr. Seniora as he addressed the Arab countries?

No really, think of it. What do 12 flags say, that 3 flags or 5 flags won’t? In the US, Mr. Obama made a speech with a bunch of American flags behind him because his detractors were casting doubt on his patriotism. But does Mr. Seniora have a rationale of his own? Does each Lebanese flag represent a country that didn’t attend the Damascus summit?

HAVING THIS MANY FLAGS SEEMS TO ME LIKE TYPING AN ALL-CAPS SENTENCE TO SAY “LEBANON STILL EXISTS”

Any Ideas?

    Mus,

Now you’re going to pick on flags??? The guy’s a patriot and for once he stood up and blamed the Syrians directly. There still might be hope!!

Not that it really matter, but why doesn’t the exact same explanation work for Siniora?

Seriously, whats with the topic? The man gave a beautiful speech, and finally said what he was supposed to say 2 years ago. Who cares how many flags there were behind him….

All these Lebanese flags where displayed, just to hide how coward Signora Sanioura is,and that his decision to boycott the A(ss)rab summit was dictated to him by his American and Saudi masters…..
All these Lebanese flags where displayed to hide his militia that was firing in the streets, while he was farting his words, scaring citizen, and offering some citizen bullets in the head and some other body parts…..
I was expecting that he would cry and snot…..but he was a strong as a man of state….
All these Lebanese flags where displayed to hide the leach that was around his neck…..
    He’s a real arab…and what are arabs but a bunch of greedy,ugly cowards….
And what’s the most funny is when this pink pig of Moallem said that the Lebanese will loose a golden opportunity because they didn’t assist the Arab Sommet…..lmao…so funny….just i hope Moallem tells me when those arab took any valuable decision,or if they took a decision they apply it…
    To hell with arabs…

It’s nothing but to emphasis the patriotism as well as create a good visualization that this is Lebanon “speaking” and not just another person who claims to represent a country.

Good visuals, hoping that it will have an effect on some of those idiots

    Ado,
If Lebanon did go, you will crticize Seniora anyway!!! I prefer the freedom on the life in Syria and Iran. Go there for a week and tell us your impressions!

    Gk:
Dude,i didn’y say that Signora should go to the summet, but i was critisizing his reason to boycott the summet….in either ways i don’t say think any arab summet is important….for what can those jerks do????what did they ever do indeed?????
And ya i agree with you,i don’t want to ever immagine my self living in Syria or Iran under that shitty regime….but neither i wouldn’t want in anyway to live in Saudi arabia or Egypt that the moron Bush calls the fair arab countries….
Fair my ass, isn’t it two month ago that red roses where forbiden in saudi me ass on valentines….or do you call forcing women to wear a veil freedom????

    Ado,

The thing is, we’re not going anywhere; they’re coming here. On one hand, the Saudis come to Lebanon to take their veils off. On the other, Iranians come to make us put their veils on. Lets not get confused here. =)

And the PM’s reasons were flawless. He does not want to attend a summit being held in a state that continues to work tirelessly to undermine Lebanon’s existence.
Don’t like what he said? Elect a President that would’ve said something different, otherwise just watch, and feel miserable.
