"Humanitarian Issues Of Common Interest"

How Nassrallah and Olmert justify doing business with each other..

Mother waiting for her son’s remains..

Hezbollah’s media never utters the words “Israel”, “Israeli Government” or “Israeli”. The Party of God usually prefers “Occupied Palestine”, “Zionist entity’s Government” and “Zionist enemy” respectively. Across the border, the Israelis always couple the word “Hezbollah” with either “Terrorist Organization” or “Radical Islamists”. Their PM Ehud Olmert vowed never to negotiate with them.

They hate each other and they will do all they can to avoid humanizing each other. they won’t even look at each other and prefer German intermediaries. The wars they’re fighting are never with fellow human beings, they are with “terrorists”, “baby killers”, “imperialists” and “land grabbing monsters”. The missiles they drop on each other kill innocent bystanders, but deep down, they don’t care because they’re “all the same”, they’re all evil blue-blooded dogs.

Too bad they have business to do with each other. And it’s hilarious that they chose “Humanitarian Issues Of Common Interest” as the reason why they’re doing this business. The people who like to film and broadcast videos of wounded soldiers groaning in excruciating pain before dying, are doing business with the people who bulldoze foreign peace activists and use Palestinian civilians as human shields, all under the banner of humanitarian considerations.

Stop trying to explain yourselves. Just exchange the damn prisoners and bodies and leave humanitarianism out of this.

  1. Israel keeps offering a 1-1 swap: fair and equal.

    Hizballah wants a 10-1 swap

this could have been over a long time ago

and dont bring rachel cory, and tom herndall into this – for all of the innocent lives destroyed by terror

  2. I don’t believe HZB will release the 2 soldiers, Goldwasser and Regev. The struggle against the evil Zionists is their bread and butter; why solve it? What then, when it is solved?
    .

  3. Yes moustapha how dare you bring American innocent civilians into this conversation?

You are only allowed to speak about Palestinian terrorists and if you really get carried away maybe about Plestinian innocent civilians being killed, no one cares about their innocent lives, so no problem there.

    Right Andrew?

  4. Amir do you believe they already took prisoners and released them before? Or do you not believe that either?

theCourtFool , Yea lovely conspiracy theory, there always has to be a “great satan” manipulating all the strings from behind the curtain …

  5. Andrew,

When one is talking about someone’s character, it doesn’t really matter if the action took place three years ago. And by the way, i didn’t know that today was the anniversary, what a coincidence!

    Amir,
“Evil Zionist” and “Evil Terrorist” are two faces of the same coin. They need each other to survive.

    Tac,
    Right on!

  7. I agree with the body-part. Dead bodies should be handed over immediately. POWs is something different, I’m afraid. Though on the other hand… war is over,… Nevertheless it should be a equal deal and not 10-1 but 1-1. (or is hezbollah implying that jewish prisoners are more worth than arab ones?)

Anyhow, you cant expect from Israel to release someone like Kuntar…
