Some body mentioned to me. Palestinians work in Israeli Hospitals. For a long time Shiaa from South Lebanon worked in Saffad hospital. Arab MDs from several countries work for short or long periods in Israeli hospitals. Palestinian and other Arabs who need hospitals use at times Israeli hospitals. Shell I go on?

Just Information.
As you know there are Durzi citizens of Syria living on the Israeli held Golan. Unlike some Palestinians these Durzi have concluded that killing Israelies and getting killed and becomming beggers and living on world charity make no sense and will not advance any Arab cause. So they are living extremely well they can travel free all over Israel and work in any place where Israeli ID is not demanded. Several are working in Israeli medical institutions, much like this doughter of SLA people. They are Syrian citizens. But as always more patriotism is demanded from the Lebanese and ex Lebanese because… realy because of what?

In my eagerness to respond to the first sentence of Jake the Snake I neglected to read the rest of the enlightening comment.

Jake the Snake’s hope for two governments and a final showdown clearly illustrates the deep desire of the opposition to see their military supremacy used internally in order to impose their imported values, interests, and goals.

Let them remember though that we are no rats, and that THEY and their Iranian and Syrian friends do not determine who is Lebanese and who isn’t. And it isn’t up to them to ‘eradicate’ us or turn us into ignorant and blind slaves and subjects of the Wilayet al Fakih.

I’d really like know why people say “better Iran and Syria than Israel” without elaborating on WHY better??

I think you should judge them on actions and not on rhetoric. The way I see it Syria and Iran are no different than Israel and at times worse. While the Israeli government’s actions against my country and I have been hostile, so have the Syrian and Iranian governments’ actions. The way I see it, those three ‘governments’ together threaten my country, my values and my aspirations.

Just because I share the same religion BY NAME with the majority of Syria and Iran doesn’t mean that I have to blindly support them or their rhetoric.
