This Man Will Never Be My President

opinion

Foul mouthed, reactionary, and plain vulgar. I can easily imagine him picking a fight with other heads of states just because he feels like it. But then again, at least he can make us laugh.

  1. I hope that he will never become a president! I strongly believe that he is in the early stages of Alzheimer. He has all the symptoms.

  2. Maybe he can hold up another photoshopped image on TV and claim its real….

  3. He sold out our people, country, families and friends for a little cash from Syria and Iran.

Are we sure he isn’t a Jew.

Fu#ing deranged, Senile old man………….go to hell.

Oh……and orange, WTF………ORANGE, out of all the colors…ORANGE. when he wears that orange jacket he looks like a dehydrated orange.

He wants to be president. I need a president that can take a piss without attaching a bag to his bladder.

VOTE 1: Senile, crazy old man for president.

  4. There is only one reality for Aoun - his dream of the Presidency. The scary thing is how many still follow him blindly. They actually praise this speech! They actually now refuse to believe that Syria has any bad intentions toward Lebanon. Who is providing the drug that goes in their Orange Kool-Aid?

  6. Two years of lies, innuendo and propaganda by the 14th Feb media aimed at discrediting the FPM and destroying it, with this blog a ready participant. A little gets fired back at you and you jump for the moral high ground.
It’s o.k., your circle of 14th Feb supporters and neocon wannabees will agree with you. The people of Metn will decide.

  7. OK let them decide
but isnt it a shame for us christians to have leaders who use such foul language. Last time i checked we were the beacon of civility and class in the Arab world; Michel Aoun is Lebanese trash that is as far as im concerned and that is my opinion , and i just hope he loses this election, even though i know for a fact that it is too far fetched , however a miracle from the lord is always welcome.

  9. Hey Jalal, you little piece of shit, you had to throw in your “jew” in there, didn’t you? What? Jew is an insult now? How ’bout I turned it on its head for you, asswhipe? how ’bout “I bet you he’s a Shi’ite!” piece of garbage, both of you!

btw, Shi’tes too have written the book on selling pride and country to foreigners… So, you guys are a match made in heaven! And leave the Jews out of it!

  10. Who welcomed the Israelis in 1982: Shiite!

Who welcomed the US in Iraq: Shiite!

Who openned the door of Baghdad to the Moguls: the Shiite wazir!

  11. Hi to all,

everyone is entitled to their opinion and who they want or do not want as a president, but attacks on groups of people should be beneath the level of the comments on this blog. I am saying this based on an assumption that all of you are civilized people who respect each other as human beings.
1- I agree with LNH, why use the word is he a “jew”, was that supposed to be an insult?. this is blatant racism and has no excuse.
2- The response of LNH though I do not agree with at ALL. what did you do LNH? Respond with an assumption and a flat out racist comment? that is not winning an argument, that is going down to a level of discourse that you just condemned.
3- for GK. Who welcomed the israelis in 1982? They were invited by the Late Bashir Gemayel, and yes there are collaborators with the enemy from shi’ites, and those are outcasts in their community. The collaborators had a large christian representation as well judging by the SLA composition. and the isrelis entered the Jabal and were welcomed there by the druze as well. Do not go around and twist facts in a way that has only one result: incite more sectarian strife.
the reason our country is like this is because all of us, from all sects did our share of messing it up, and then we go around and say: “but it was their mistake, we were the good ones”.
I am hoping that at least in a blog like this we can go past this pattern of discourse.

  12. I don’t understand people’s hatred for Aoun. He’s the only one that has a political agenda: to combat corruption. What is the political agenda of Gemayel? Geagea? Jumblatt? What is their plan to improve the socio-economic condition in Lebanon?
They say that he uses vulgar words… haha :) if that’s the worse thing he does, I support him even more! Tell me what Jumblatt did with the money in the emigrants fund… what about Saniora and all these years as finance minister… did any of you listen to Najah Wakim during these years where money was disappearing and Saniora was the last to know… give me a break. Aoun is an honest, down to earth man who uses the language of the people to get their attention. Long live the General!

  13. Well, if he lost Metn and the Baabda, we can at least me him happy:
Just photoshop him with a crown and a scepter with the Baabda palace on the background. Every time he got depressed show him the picture and tell him about his divine electoral victory - and presto - he’ll be happy again.
    :)

Jokes apart, let the folks in Metn choose and live by their choice.

Yeah, very civilized of you to say that.
