Why would a sane political party plant firecrackers next to one of their offices then drum up lies in their media about a “bomb” that was discovered and dismantled by “explosives experts”? Lies, fear and paranoia are becoming the bread and butter of the FPM. (more here)

Yesterday, I read the FRM website first and then when I found out that what they were refering to as explosives were merely some firecracker sticks, I thought how ridiculous the FP movement has become… I just don’t get them at all, and sometimes their claims for transparency, rule of justice, so on, so forth.. are totally out of this world! Imagine an embattled country that has been struggling to keep it together after a bloody decades-long civil war suddenly, overnight, and with a strike from the magical FPM wand turns into this utopic democracy… I mean which planet did they land from??? the rhetoric strikes me as quite empty and baseless, you know (sorry for the sarcasm) like the perenially bitter “Ana Akrah” sanphoor (smurf)!
Another hypocrisy I noted the other day was when Aoun came out in a NewTV interview condemning Seniora for seeking help outside Lebanon, specifically at the time Egypt, and “why not talk to parties in Lebanon?” etc. Then the *very next* day I kid you not, I read that Aoun had made a quick trip to Qatar in what turned out to be an unannounced visit! There you go.

“Police investigators copied finger prints from the whole package and an investigation was launched, the statement added without elaboration”
How did you deduce the FPM planted it themselves?
I have no doubt they spiced up the story, drummed up lies and then retracted it in shame and hopefully tjarrasou again when it turned out to be meaningless fire crackers… And I salute you for exposing them however I find the way you posted the story to be very dishonest and deceptive and frankly I am disappointed at you.
Oh well, maybe i should stop expecting much :-)

Perhaps I was in an “eye for an eye” mood. But you were right. It could have been better worded.
If you go back to previous “lies” performed by the FPM, you would realize they usually start the lie, fabricate some story then deny it and remove it after some paper or some site catches them in the act ..
So the probability of them putting the firecrackers is bigger than them spicing up the story :)
