Wait for something like what exactly? What could possibly happen? What significance (other than the spin the Syrians and their flacks will inundate us with) could this brief encounter have? Or what difference will it make? Answer: nothing really.
Hasn’t the US administration assured Lebanon of its promise to safeguard Lebanon, regardless of their brief meetings with Syria and cold response to Iran.
I’m not sure this care will last while democrats take more and more charge of US foreign policies; Nor am I sure that the final intention of the US suits the Lebanese.
