The Other Sanioura

Uncategorized

By a twist of fate, the name of our Prime Minister is the same as that of a Lebanese sweet. This has caused an unexpected windfall to the sweets’ makers.

Support the Lebanese government with coffee or with tea

If the Sanioura is not the top selling Lebanese sweet today, it is definitely up there. In the various large demos and festivals held to support the Lebanese Prime Minister, the Sanioura is the sweet of choice for distribution.

Lebanese sweet makers are working overtime to supply this cookies-like delicacy. Depending on your taste, you can buy the Sanioura online (a.k.a Ghouraibeh) here, here or here. They all ship internationally.
