Condolences

Uncategorized

Found on the streets of Tripoli (North Lebanon):

For non Arabic Speakers: This paper has the format of a typical funeral announcement. It mourns the loss of “The Conscience of Arab Leaders”. A funeral announcement usually includes the names of the deceased’s family members. In this case, the father is George W. Bush. The brothers of course are Sharon, Barak, Netanyehu and Olmert…

  2. Condolences to the freedom-loving people of Lebanon, whose country is crumbling thanks to the rabid Jihadist ambitions of their Shi’ite masters Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad, who continue to send you their love and kisses and want you to know that they share in your grief.

Assad Jr. sends you flowers and cuddle hugs.

  8. Hey Mustapha, just saw your blog on CNN… They quoted you saying “Perhaps, but I’d prefer real fireworks”.
(They did worse to me if that can make you feel better)
    Hope you’re well!

  11. From an American to Lebanon: I hope you guys defeat the Israeli occupiers. I have followed the actions of Israel for many years and they’ve become increasingly arrogant and inhumane. It’s time someone puts a stop to them.

  12. As well, from an American to Lebanon, I really hope you guys somehow defeat the zionists even though they have a crushing force. I’m ashamed that my earned tax dollars have gone to supplying the bombs that Israel uses to kill lebanon.

I can’t belive the rest of the world stands by while israel slaughters hundreds more lebanese. The joos suffered in ww2, its true, but lets not give them a blank check to do whatever they want.

How many 50 year old countries get 2 billion a year from the US government in MILITARY SPENDING.

  15. Mustapha - I watch in horror from the US at what Israel is doing to your country. And I wonder why people don’t “get it” that Israel is creating WWIII with the help of their only friends, the US. I am ashamed to be an American at this time, even though I don’t want to live any where else. I’m ashamed of our government, I am ashamed of the President and I am ashamed that some rocket was probably paid for by my own tax dollars. Stay safe Mustapha

  16. From a real American -

We love Lebanon. It is so free and open and mulitcultural. It is everything that we cherish and love. We have been born and raised in a society where politcians compete for power. We intuitively know the lies and manipulations that men will go through in their quest for power. We know that they care nothing for us common people. We know that if they ever find a way to bypass our votes then we will be condemmed to a life of servitude. We know men like Nasrallah. We see them everyday in their suits and ties giving their fiery speeches and filling our airwaves with their false promises - if only we will give them our undying support. They are skilled at bending words and they easily sway those who are looking to be swayed. They hold rallies and give fiery speeches that ignite passion and fear. But we fought them many generations ago and we know that they must never again be allowed to hold power. Yes, we love Lebanon. We love it enough that what we want is not a day or a year of peace. What we want is a lifetime of peace and rivers that flow with milk and honey. But we have fought our war of revolt and learned our lessons. Our own rivers once ran red with our own blood as we fought to strip power from the few and give it to the many. And we learned …. men like Nasrallah never step down without a fight and if you never fight them then you will forever be enslaved. We do not believe that this war is between Lebanon and Israel. We believe that this war is between Israel and Nasrallah. I do not expect you to understand. America overwhelmingly supports Israel in this conflict precisely because we love Lebanon.

  17. To Americans,
some of you might love Lebanon, but your government is behind the killing of all these civilians in Lebanon, Iraq etc. Your secratery of state (that monkey looking girl) is working for Israelis and want the bombing to continue. Shame on U.S and shame on your leaders.

  18. from Florence, Italy.
There is a problem in Middle East, the Lebanon burst.
    Brave, Lebanon people!

  19. You shoud read Nasrallah’s interview with Al jazeera. He does not fight for the good of Lebanon. He fights for the good of Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. If he does not fight his war with Israel now then he will eventually fight a civil war with Lebanon.

    Which would you prefer?

  20. mustapha,
I have read your entire blog and respect your opinion on the whole issue at hand. However, there are many times where you contradict yourself here. An opinion change, perhaps..But what you don’t seem to understand is if the Lebonease government doesn’t step it up you will no longer be free. When this ends… civil war? Likely. Where is YOUR army Lebanon? No matter what the united states does the middle east will hate us. Whether we help you or not..you will hate us. Whether there is a democrat or republican in office.. yes, you will hate us. You don’t walk down the street in america and have car bombs and suicide crazy bombers blowing up. We are civilized people who want to live. Quit hiding behind Hezbollah and uprise against these terrorists. Or you all will create your own demise!
