  2. Is any of you guys can translate what it said, I would grealty appreciate it

  3. Well, It’s basically about how Jesus Christ(PBUI) Was shunned by the people for a very bad person, simply because he was too good.

The allusion is of course to the prophetic General Aoun, who is being conspired against by some very evil Lebanese forces.

Good thing the post was placed in the “Politics” category, or i would have never guessed :)

  4. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. This is absurd and sickening.

  6. Funny how some only notice the posts they intend to critisize. $10 to the guy that picks a post they like! Oh I forgot, we are the evil empire of the FPM!!

  7. Just to add: Before some want to critisize the FPM, firstly please try to discover what it is really about, its history, and what its members and supporters feel, as opposed to simply bashing based on pure emotion. If you actually dig deep, you will be suprised at what you may find.

  8. Omega,

It doesn’t matter what the FPM is about, it’s history, etc, when some members compare Jesus Christ to Aoun then they border on fanaticism. Eerily similar to how some people looked up to Hitler.

This is not an attack on the FPM per say, I would say the same thing if I saw this on any political party’s blog, website or media.

  9. omega,

We also hear and watch Aoun speaks and takes actions.

  10. Firstly, the FPM is not based on one man, remember that.

  11. Omega80,

I agree completely, Micho is half-a-man, at most.

  12. Funny how most of you are criticizing the guy’s extreme post ( note it’s not the only post in the “aounist” blog, contrarily to what the writer here is alluding to ) , yet refer to people bearing different ideologies with the lowest of terms. Of course, the article has a blatant exaggeration in it, but that does not justify the insults seen here.

Half a man ? Oh come on guys, you can do better. For folks who claim to abide by “the truth” slogan, that’s already a lot of fact twisting, blind subjectivism, and hatred seen from your behalf.

  13. even if aoun is an idiot, I must say that Saad Hariri recent press release puts him on the same level. I hope that the FM keeps siniora as long as possible

  14. Funny how they sensor all the comments on that FPM site! Isnt it curious how we end up having to discuss their issues on alternative sites, such as this one because they simply cant stand the heat!? Is this what Aon stands for? Anyone who disagrees with him, gets shushed?? Pathetic…

  15. Didn’t you know that FREE speech is a tenant of the FREE Patriotic Movement? We keep on getting reminded by members of that group to look into what it stand for, to look past a general…oh the irony of it all…

No one here mentioned Saad or Saniora until you did. And if you want comparison here is one. Saad and Saniora work for Lebanon’s best interests while Aoun works for his ego and personal gains - it is written all over him. He only seeks power and accuses others of being dictators.

  19. Not to offend, but many of you are not seeing the bigger picture of things. The Presidency issue is not about the seat in and of itself, it goes way beyond that. It is firstly about balance of power in Lebanon, and the fact that WE STRONGLY believe that another puppet President is something that Lebanon can’t afford. We have been having weak Presidents since the days of Charles Helou, and our last two were puppets in every meaning of the word.

Another puppet President will not be able to answer a question such as, how come between $20 - $26 billion of our public debt has gone to servicing the debt and interest payments on the Lira? Are there a few particular groups that hold most Lebanese debt and Lira, and thus are receiving most of this money?

Yalla shabeb, this is deeper than what you just see on TV.

You never explained the “No Comment” status on your blog. Never mind the negative comments you sensor, where are the positive ones? Where are all the FPMers???

  22. Omega, I hope you are still reading,
Some people are bashing the FPM / Aoun because they hate them, but this Post is making fun of the entry on the lpfm post because that entry IS RIDICULOUS.
No matter what the FPM is about, or how much the FPM is good or whatever you think the comparision itself is fanatical, and ridiculous.

An advice that you are free to ignore, Immature irrationnal posts will be mocked, and will reflect badly on the FPM.
If that was the personnal blog of an LPFMer i would have absolutely no problem with the post, or the carrot post, or whatever, but being the “Blog of the Free Patriotic Movement powered by Tayyar.org” I say it is a shame, you are only hurting yourselves with that attitude.

    Ana wallahi baddeh kermelkon :-)
