Wain’l wawa? Bahh..

No Comment… (I like the little explanation they have for poor Al-Arabiya readers who can’t tell what a G-String is…). Also, make sure you read the comments in Alarabiya..

  4. The G-string explanation is hilarious. Would rather they spray paint on the big, egotistical portrait on top of the mountain though (in the back of the picture)…

  5. Anyone else noticed how close to “The Decider”, “Rajol Al-Qarar” sounds?
    Both equally ridiculous…

  7. The mayor must be gay, it’s common in Tripoli, in this case I totally understand him.

  8. In other places in Lebanon, the picture of the bare skin of the models are simply covered with white sheets of paper. Leaving the imagination of the drivers to wander… :) wawa ya rayis…

  10. I’m a living(too bad) in Tripoli….
Tripoli is a beautiful city, with manny historic sites, and the best shores surrounding it……….
But to bad Tripoli is full of hypocrits, where you can do whatever you want, but you should do it in total secret…….
You can go to Beyrouth and see all the Tripolitain politicians getting drunk,or honoring bitchy artists……but when they come to tripoli they act like saints……going to pray every friday and preaching others…..
And about the gay thing(i have nothing against them, but i hate hypocrits)maybe Lira is right cause two of the members of the municipality of tripoli are undercover Gays that has been spotted in Acid dancing sensually with other guys…..

  11. Heheheh funny… what ads do they want to remove????????? i live in tripoli and never saw that g-string ad..all i see is al hallab ads building ads, big bite ugly ads(a fast food take away rest),and some other ugly and not in anyway related to graphic art ads.Ow how i’d love that they remove these ugly posters!Ah yes there is an ad with a girl on it Mango but not offensing at all.By the way tripoli is not that closed:come visit it on a friday, saturday eve and any other vacation day and see the young people “live”.Hehe you’ll be surprised…
Back to main subject..the mayor seems to be really stupid:He should then ban tv,internet,cafes,..schools,libraries,magazines…EVERYTHING and then put a cluster around tripoli and send policemen on the roads like in saudi arabia..
AND WOW MUS..DID I EVEN MENTION THAT “ANA DANA” IS MADE IN TRIPOLI?
SO PLEEEEEASE DON’T YOU DARE PUT A HAIFA SONG TITLE “WAWA” ON A BLOG YOU’R TALKING ABOUT TRIPOLI AND WE HAVE OUR OWN EXEMPLES…DANA,MAYA NASRI,NISRINE(ex-four cats singer),…you name..
As for the “gay”part there are a lot of undercover gay people here but its all over lebanon. No wonder why arabs enjoy their stay here…
