Arab Public Opinion

Uncategorized

It seems the Syrian regime is losing the hearts and minds of Aljazeera’s audience.
According to this pole taking place at their website right now, around 2/3 of the voters think the Mehlis report is fair, whereas 1/3 think it’s biased.

  3. Well, actually, Mehlis is a prosecutor and not a judge. He has to provide a tough case against the culprits. So it’s unfair to accuse him of being biased. In a court of law, the prosecutor’s job consists of being biased toward the victims and biased against the suspects.
In a second phase, it is the jury’s job to be fair.
