After eleven years in prison, Samir Geagea (Gaegae, Ja3ja3) will be out soon. It is time the civil war got wrapped up.

Hello, my name is Mustapha and I blog in The Beirut Spring about Lebanese society and politics. I started in February 2005 after the killing of P.M. Rafik Hariri.

But still, HA decided not to vote for his amnesty. Do they want to wrap up the civil war era?…
HA are shitty losers.
In what is the “Christian Canton” advocated by LF worse than the “Islamic Republic” advocated by these shitty losers.
Doha, for once, is right: They don’t want to wrap up the civil war era.
dewekhoun rimone,
what do mean, “doha, FOR ONCE, is right?”. wallah, dawakhitnee ya rimone; I need an explanation.
i agree they should be all out to wrap up the civil war although i personally am not a big fan of geaga. but why do people always confuse forgiveness for forgetfulness. okay, let him go out, and let the other war lords like berri and jumblatt stay out too. but why the hell these same people should be our political leaders? isn’t that odd? how can we trust the same people who committed the horrible atrocities in the war like berri and…the list goes til geaga..be our trustworth peace time rulers? i may be bordering on wishful thinking and refusal of the defacto status of the game but…in principal…isn’t it wrong?
